The City of Bangor is pleased to announce an opening for a new position as a Housing Support Navigator for the Public Health and Community Services Department. This position will provide support services to adults and families in the Bangor area who are newly housed through one of the programs provided by Community Services or one of its partners. This position will act as the interim support while permanent case management services are being secured. The Housing Support Navigator will advocate for and on behalf of tenants and or clients to avoid eviction or displacement. This position will strive to assist in address the City’s homeless population, which is currently outpacing available services, and is responsible for a variety of duties, as outlined within the job description found here: Housing Support Navigator Job Description. This position’s full salary range is $29.14 – $32.12 per hour and is nonexempt.
