Assistant/Associate Lecturer and Degree Coordinator in Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management
JOB PURPOSE:
The University of Wyoming (UW) invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Lecturer and Degree Coordinator in Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management (ORTM).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We seek an accomplished and creative individual to manage and oversee the ORTM program, teach courses in ORTM, coordinate student internships, and provide service consistent with the educational missions of the University of Wyoming and the Helga Otto Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources. The ORTM degree emphasizes stewardship and conservation of natural resources, tourism and outdoor recreation theories and best practices, entrepreneurial and business management strategies, creating outstanding visitor experiences, and broad understanding of cultural and natural resources. The successful candidate will be familiar with the theory and practice of outdoor recreation and tourism fields and have demonstrated leadership, organization, and communication skills. This is a non-tenure track 12-month appointment.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
