A nationally respected healthcare organization is seeking a Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer (VP/CCO) to provide visionary leadership across its multi-facility network. This executive will oversee compliance, privacy, and regulatory governance ensuring the organization maintains the highest ethical, legal, and operational standards in patient care and corporate integrity.
This is a mission-critical leadership position reporting directly to the executive team and Board, responsible for shaping compliance strategy, mitigating risk, and leading a team of experienced Directors within a dynamic healthcare ecosystem.
Lead the development and execution of the organization's enterprise-wide compliance and privacy strategy .
Partner with executive leadership and the Board to ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical governance.
Oversee regulatory monitoring, policy governance, investigations, and staff education programs.
Advise senior leaders on healthcare law, risk management, and operational compliance priorities.
Foster a culture of integrity, fairness, and continuous improvement across all departments.
Lead a high-performing compliance team, setting clear goals and measurable outcomes.
Serve as the senior liaison with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and counsel on compliance matters.
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
710 years of progressive experience in corporate compliance , including 3+ years in an executive or senior leadership role.
Proven ability to interpret complex healthcare regulations and develop scalable compliance systems.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with executive presence and credibility.
Demonstrated history of leading cross-functional teams through change, audits, and investigations.
Strong ethical foundation, sound judgment, and ability to manage sensitive issues discreetly.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and/or Health Privacy Compliance (CHPC) .
Experience with enterprise risk management, quality improvement, and regulatory research .
Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
JD highly regarded.
