We are currently looking for UX Designer & Researcher Interns who want to make an impact.

As a UX Intern at Zotec, you’ll help shape meaningful healthcare experiences by combining research insights with thoughtful design. You’ll explore real user needs, test ideas, and craft intuitive digital solutions that make complex systems simple. Working closely with experienced designers, researchers, and product teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full design process—from discovery to delivery—in an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and fun environment.

What You’ll Do

• Discover: Plan and conduct user research through interviews, usability tests, and surveys to uncover insights into user needs and behaviors.
• Define: Analyze and synthesize research findings into clear personas, journey maps, and opportunity areas.
• Design: Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that communicate design ideas effectively.
• Validate: Test and iterate designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
• Collaborate: Work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design outcomes with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Document: Contribute to design systems and research repositories, ensuring that insights and patterns are accessible across teams.
• Learn & Grow: Receive mentorship from senior designers and researchers who will guide you in honing your craft and professional confidence.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to Zotec:

• A strong curiosity for understanding how people think, feel, and interact with technology.
• Foundational knowledge of UX design methods and research methods (qualitative and/or quantitative).
• Experience or familiarity with tools such as Figma, Qualtrics, Cursor, and or similar.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to share research insights and design rationale.
• Analytical thinking with a balance of creativity and attention to detail.
• Comfort working in a dynamic, collaborative environment with multiple disciplines.
• A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning through feedback and experimentation.
