Job Description

**Overview** The Supervisor, Care Center will assist the manager in daily operations. THIS POSITION WILL FLOAT BETWEEN VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND HAVE VARYING HOURS. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day supervision of the Care Center Specialists and Care Center Specialist II. The Senior Care Center Coordinator will interact with patients, families, clinicians, and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner. Emphasis is placed on adhering to high standards of customer service. **Responsibilities** 1. Serves in Care Center Manager's absence to oversee all functions of the Care Center. 2. Provides training and all supervision and performance management of new Care Center staff including work assignments. 3. Responsible for training and supervision of new staff during the two week Care Center orientation on computer systems, scheduling and departmental policies procedures and protocol. 4. Operates all systems of the Care Center and performs each and any duty in an efficient and productive manner. 5. Working with the Care Center Manager, monitors, and analyzes emerging (registration, scheduling) needs and allocate existing staff to resolve the issue. 6. Assists Care Center Manager with staff scheduling, performance monitoring and yearly performance reviews 7. With knowledge of the basic business requirements of designated clinic(s), serves as a liaison between clinic(s), the Care Center, the CMO, and customers. 8. Develops and maintains a quality improvement program to monitor compliance with procedure, quality of data and effectiveness of system while working with the user community to continually improve the process. 9. Maintains an updated general understanding of insurance requirements as they related to the collection of accurate information at the Care Center and allowing the ability to assess system information from Care Management Office (CMO), such as information related to insurance authorization for patient services. 10. Assists Care Center staff with issues/concerns relating to insurance clearance, scheduling registration and patient related problems. 11. Actively participates in all meetings related to Care Center issues, including provider meetings. 12. Assists with the completion and tracking of other departmental reports including, but not limited to Delinquency Reports, MA Clearance Reports, Show Rate Reports, and Transcript Reports 13. Ensures complete and accurate information is entered into the registration, scheduling and charge entry system. 14. Tracks and monitors, unbilled report, insurance treatment plans, OMS treatment plans, insurance referrals, consults while communicating with KKI clinicians, CMO. 15. Tracks, collects and processes quality improvement and patient tracking data. **Qualifications** EDUCATION: * BA/BS in human services related field or health care administration is desired. * AA/AS or equivalent college credits required. EXPERIENCE: * 5 years satisfactory working experience in registration, scheduling, coordinating and operating patient services systems in a clinical setting is required. * 4 years experience coordinating and operating patient systems * 2 years experience managing clinical operations. RELATED TRAINING: * Proficient with MS Office Suite including Excel, Access and Word. * If not already trained in SIMS, Scheduling System Software and Groupwise will obtain this within six months. **Minimum pay range** USD $50,148.80/Yr. **Maximum pay range** USD $85,998.22/Yr. **Vacancy ID** _12333_ **Pos.
