Shipping Clerk

Pay: $16-18.50/hr. (depending on experience)

Shift: Mon-Fri (7am to 3pm)

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a detail oriented  Shipping Clerk to be responsible for managing the flow of goods going out of the manufacturing facility.  The primary focus is to ensure accurate processing of shipments and supporting overall operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure safe handling of products.
• Pack/wrap orders as required by item/delivery type, and prepare for shipment.
• Track inventory and manage stock levels accurately.
• Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Assemble skids, boxes, and/or other containers.
• Put shipping labels on packed containers, boxes, and /or skids.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals, ensuring timely processing of all orders.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to verify stock levels, utilizing basic math skills for accurate record-keeping.
• Operate order pickers as needed to retrieve items from storage locations efficiently.
• Ensure packing lists are accurate.
