Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to lead with energy, empathy, and excellence? We’re seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to help drive top-tier guest experiences, operational efficiency, and team success in a dynamic food and beverage setting.
In this key leadership role, you’ll support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the daily front-of-house operations while contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction and team performance.
Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to execute strategic goals including:
Seasonal menu development
FOH scheduling and labor planning
POS system updates and optimizations
Staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training
Lead and support servers, bartenders, and support staff to deliver exceptional service
Set the tone through direct coaching, performance evaluations, and daily leadership
Uphold and help implement policies, processes, and cleanliness standards
Act as the acting manager in the absence of the F&B Manager
Address and resolve guest service concerns with professionalism and care
Participate in and lead operational improvement projects
Champion a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
Associate's degree or equivalent, plus 6 months to 1 year of leadership experience in a quality restaurant or banquet setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and tech-savvy with internet-based systems
Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to think critically and remain calm under pressure
Strong leadership instincts with a focus on building trust and team cohesion
Comfortable interpreting and executing verbal and written instructions
Attention to detail, a guest-first mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement
Cultural awareness and the ability to connect with diverse teams and guests
Preferred:
Prior supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-quality hospitality venue
Serve Safe or Food Manager Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Passion for service, team development, and creating memorable guest experiences
