Job Title: Print Production Manager
Location: Ocean, New Jersey

Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  Salaried position and may require flex in work as we operate production on all three (3) shifts. 

Print Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversees approximately 80 Production & Warehouse staff  (All 3 shifts: 35, 25, 20) with the support of  3 Shift Supervisors / Leads.  Industry: "consumer mailings" "print sector"
• Drives production, sets goals and monitors production levels and efforts 
• Manages personnel, scheduling, work allocation, etc. Ensures production demands are properly staffed and managed 
• Forecasts production levels based on historical data, current production demands and accurately schedules production and warehouse staff accordingly
• Monitors budget, expenses and overtime
• Purchases production materials, monitors inventory levels and ensures materials flow from warehouse to production / vice versa 
• Conducts interviews, conducts employee reviews, conducts employee training as needed and conducts employee counseling when needed / appropriate
• Runs staff meetings, including Daily Brief's, Safety Meetings, etc.
• Communicates directly with our customer to ensure production meets expectations, communicates operational challenges, delays and helps maintain the relationship between company and customer
• Learns and oversees the technical operation of our machinery, including setting up machines to produce customer specific cards and letters / mail 
• Helps develop and/or improve training modules, SOP's and standardizing work processes

Print Production Manager Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, post high school education or training is desirable but not required 
• At least three (3) years managing 25+ warehouse and/or production staff/personnel
• Must be "tech & computer savvy" including strong MS Excel skills
• Must be capable of learning technical production processes (we produce "mail") and competent to train others how to use our equipment
• Needs to be able to work outside of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM when needed, as we operate all 3 shifts.
