Confidential Search seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient hospital operations. You’ll assist licensed pharmacists with safe, accurate medication preparation and distribution, inventory management, and documentation—while delivering excellent service to patients and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, package, label, and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision
Perform IV compounding and sterile product preparation (per policies/procedures)
Maintain drug inventory: order, receive, stock, and rotate medications
Complete accurate documentation and maintain patient records
Conduct inspections, check for expirations, and uphold medication storage standards
Follow all organizational policies, regulatory/ accrediting requirements, and safety practices
Requirements
Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician registration
National certification : PTCB (CPhT) or NHA (ExCPT)
Strong attention to detail, math skills, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment
Schedules (2 Openings)
Days (4×10s): Rotating 7:00a–5:30p, 8:00a–6:30p, 9:00a–7:30p; 1 weekend/month ; 1–2 holidays/year
Nights: Mon/Tue/Thu 4:30p–5:00a or 5:30p–6:00a ; no scheduled weekends (may pick up as needed); 1 summer + 1 winter holiday
