Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our clinical team by assisting with medication-related tasks and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about helping patients navigate their healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients, providers, and pharmacy partners

  • Process medication refill requests and prior authorizations using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

  • Assist patients in accessing pharmaceutical assistance programs

  • Maintain, monitor, and track the dispensing of on-site medication samples

  • Build and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical representatives

  • Field incoming calls from pharmacies to provide prescription clarifications, refill authorizations, and medication interaction support

  • Respond to patient phone calls regarding medication questions, concerns, or messages for the provider

  • Perform general administrative duties as requested by physicians and office managers

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license (must be maintained in good standing)

  • Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medical terminology, and insurance payor requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and a welcoming, patient-first attitude

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Willingness to travel to satellite offices as needed
