Garden Center Laborer & Customer Service Associate - seasonal positions for a Landscape Distribution Center

Our team of horticulture experts at Northern Nurseries is looking for a hard-working individual for full-time seasonal position as a Landscape General Laborer/Customer Service Associate. The season is from April through October - depending on seasonal weather fluctuations.

In this position you will:

• Speak with customers regarding their current orders and write new orders
• Load and unload plant materials in most weather conditions outside
• Maintain nursery stock - this includes watering, moving stock around the yard, maintaining the nursery stock, and other duties as assigned
• Various job duties that are related to nursery maintenance

The position requires physicality; you must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance. Previous experience with equipment such as forklift and front-end loaders & knowledge of nursery stock or plants is a PLUS.

Requirements:

• Ability to work outside in most weather conditions
• Physicality - you must be able to life 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be at least 18
• Must have a clean driving record

Pay starts at $19/hour and is based on experience.

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
