AECOM Technical Services, Inc., Junior Geotechnical Engineer - Tailings and Dams, Denver, CO: Provide engineering, investigation, analysis, design, construction oversite and operational services for mine waste and tailings storage facilities. Planning, implementing, and overseeing geotechnical exploration programs. Assisting with laboratory testing assignments. Performing geotechnical evaluations including material characterization of mine tailings behavior, shear strength and static and seismic loading response, seepage, slope stability, and settlement analyses. Assisting with the development of geotechnical reports, drawings, and specifications. Preparing and presenting technical presentations of evaluation results to the internal team. Review geotechnical instrumentation and assist with the preparation of instrumentation monitoring reports. May telecommute. Full-time. Equal Opportunity Employer.
