Job Title: Playwright QA Automation Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid / Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Playwright QA Automation Engineer to join our QA team and support the testing of modern web applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UI automation using Playwright and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications
Execute automated and manual test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and testing scope
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Continuously improve test coverage and automation frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
Experience in UI automation testing for web applications
Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA best practices
Experience with Git and version control systems
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have:

Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
Knowledge of performance testing tools
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin)
