Hybrid Development Team Lead | Providence, UT
Nexeo is seeking a skilled and motivated Hybrid Development Team Lead to join our client's growing team. This role will lead a team of developers in designing, building, and delivering innovative software solutions. The right candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to balance hands-on development with team management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, performance, and scalability in all deliverables.
Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of software developers in daily tasks and long-term projects.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other departments to align project goals with business needs.
• Oversee the software development life cycle, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and remain hands-on with coding and architecture when needed.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team performance.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or technical issues within projects.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or team lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages (C#, Java, Python, or similar).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance leadership duties with hands-on technical contributions.
Schedule
• Location: Logan, UT (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite, remainder remote)
