Job Description

Description We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Frisco, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting employee development and training initiatives while managing essential HR processes. This role requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: - Organize and coordinate training sessions, including topics such as heat safety, harassment prevention, workplace violence, and performance management. - Manage onboarding processes, including handling I-9 documentation and new employee software setup. - Schedule and facilitate lunch-and-learn events and virtual training sessions via Teams. - Develop and edit presentations for various departments and upload them to the Absorb platform. - Monitor and track employee training completion to ensure compliance with organizational standards. - Assist with conducting interviews and supporting recruitment efforts. - Provide administrative support for employee development programs, such as Excel and analytical training. - Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures. Requirements - Proficiency in HR systems, including Absorb, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various HR processes. - Experience with onboarding, I-9 documentation, and background checks. - Familiarity with creating and managing training schedules and materials. - Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and facilitating virtual training sessions. - Ability to work independently and demonstrate a go-getter mentality. - Knowledge of HRMS platforms and auditing processes. - Customer service skills to support employees and address inquiries effectively.
