Job Description

Title: DG BOSS: Upholsterer (FN) + Performs upholstery repairs on vehicles and equipment. + Repair or replace damaged or worn upholstery in all vehicles and equipment. + Repair or replace upholstery to match existing material and workmanship quality. + Repairs and fabricates headliners of all types of motor vehicles including door cover panels. + Remove old upholstery and linings from vehicles. + Take measurements and select appropriate materials to be used. + Sew materials together and fasten them in place. + Finish with trims and edging. + Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment. + Performs other duties as may be assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives. Basic Qualifications + Must be familiar with the use of sewing machines and understand the importance of performing operational maintenance of the machine. + Must be familiar with the fabrics required. + Must know how to interpret drawings. + Must speak, read, and understand the English Language. + Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health. + Must have a valid country of origin's driver's license. Preferred Qualifications JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING: + N/A EDUCATION: + Must have at least a High School diploma is required. EXPERIENCE: + Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in upholstery repairs on vehicles and equipment.
